Ed's squeezing in one more project before the baby's born. We've been wanting to deal with the fireplace since we bought this house but we haven't decided what to do and when we want to do it. It's always been our plan to rip the whole thing out, re-sheetrock, then build a smaller fireplace on that wall but that's not the kind of project I want to do with a new baby in the middle of winter (we did plenty of that when Jack was a brand-new-born!). So we're doing the next best thing--paint! Ed sprayed the lovely gold insert and it's already improved 100% and now he's painting the rock with his trusty helper Jack.
