Jack.
Jack is playing lacrosse for the first time this year and he got a goal in his first game--he's fun to watch and he still gives me a kiss at the half!
Then he came home and finished mowing the lawn:
It's possible we have been counting down the days till this.
Summer time!
We took the boat out last weekend and both kids got up on skis no problem!
Henry and Jemma were cheering like crazy from the boat.
All that cheering was hard work:

What to buy the man who has everything?

Ed spent Father's Day on the road with his boys.
They drove 17 hours round trip to pick up the cutest little bundle ever:
Grandpa.
I ran the CDA half marathon and afterwards we stopped by to see my grandpa who was packing up for a trip to DC on the Honor Flight. We had him try on his army coat for the girls. In his pocket was his little journal from the war. So fascinating for the girls! I love this picture...everything looks exactly the same as it did when I was growing up....same fridge, same cookie jar, same grandpa!
Portland!
Waaaayyy back in May, we surprised the kids on the last day of school with a trip to Portland.
It was a good surprise.

The next day, Ed was working and the rest of us were hard at work shopping. Then we crashed at the hotel and had pizza and cartoons:
The next day we did the zoo. It was a good one!
It's good to have a brother
and a sister to help you out.

On the way home, the girls were belting out some Taylor Swift.
Henry was less than impressed.
