The morning of the 24th, we meet the cousins in the Rosauers parking lot and head back out for presents! and food! and fun!
The kids open first:
and then we send them off to play so we can get down to business:
This year it was pouring when we left our house but by the time we got to grandma's, it was snowing and so beautiful! (we drove back into the rain on the way home and the kids said it was like we'd been in a snow globe!)
Then we eat. These boys are fans of that.
And we had a special Nativity presentation:
Started with caroling.
Can you stand those sweet faces?
Joseph there in the middle charged the director a dollar to be in the play but you can see he warmed up nicely to the role.
And that is sweet baby Jesus there behind him. Which reminds me, a couple hours into the present opening, I mentioned how awesome the kids all were and a minute later a report comes down the stairs that Henry had eaten the gold coins that were supposed to be the wise man's gold in the upcoming play! He's still a work in progress.
What a perfect morning!
