and the livin' is crazy busy! Ed was gone all last week and every time he called, I said, "I'll call ya back...I'm crazy running around!" When he got home, I was telling him what we'd been up to and how we were literally running from one place to the next all week and man, how I was looking forward to next week. And he, cause he's so darn smart, said, "you always say that, maybe it's not a busy week, maybe it's just your life now." Duh. Cause here I am, in next week, and I'm still flying around. We've done summer camps, the pool, birthday parties, wedding planning, the darn gym, play dates, lunch dates, movie dates, and, oh yeah, the usual cleaning, cooking, and laundry that keeps us up and running, and then I'm catering a three-day conference this week so that's an extra round of Costco, flower gardens, and enough fruit-chopping and meat-grilling to drive me nuts. After an afternoon of work, I loaded up the kids and headed to the flower gardens to pick a carload of flowers and just as we pulled up we got a massive flash rainstorm so we stayed in the car till it passed and giggled our little heads off and then when we got home, I popped the babies in bed, took a break from chopping and sat out in a really amazing thunderstorm with my monkeys:

which was "almost as good as real fireworks!" I gotta say, it might be crazy but we love it here. And I'm thinking maybe
next week I'll get to all the blog posts rattling around in my head.
