Ava's class performed The Gingerbread Man Musical at the school assembly and it was amazing!! The songs were funny, the music was great, and the kids were perfect! It is seriously amazing to see a group of six year olds reciting and singing and moving around in perfect time--we were so impressed!
Jack waiting for it to start. He has been practicing with Ava for weeks and he knows all the lines so I was just hoping he wouldn't burst into song in the middle of it! But he was so excited to see it with the costumes and the lights that he sat with his little hands folded in delight. And then after all the applause and the final bow he hollered, "Ava!" and waved--he was so proud of her!
I was too busy videotaping to get any pics of the performance but her teacher lined them up at the end so we could all take pictures. (Check out the cute gingerbread man costume, and the fox next to her, and little Kayte next to her...so cute!!)
