It's possible I need to get out more

I picked Ava up from school wearing this and she got in the car with a big smile and said, "Where are we going?? To someone's house? Out to lunch?" And I said, "Umm, home?" And she said, "Come on mom, you're all dressed up and springy (pause with a peek over the seat) and you're wearing new flip-flops!!" I am sad to say we have officially reached the point in our lives where a green hoodie (a hoodie!) and fresh flip-flops (flip-flops!) means a big day on the town.
