We surprised the kids Thanksgiving night with a trip the next night to Coeur d'Alene to see the fireworks, take the cruise, and stay in a hotel.
And then about seven minutes after we told them the big surprise, Ed started puking.
So we canceled the fireworks and hotel and bumped the cruise a couple days.
We rallied a couple days later and started the night with dinner at Bardenay.

It was just over 10 degrees that night but we toughed it out and stayed outside to see the lights--totally worth it!
