Thanksgiving!
My people.
Warming up for dinner.
Jemma found a comfy spot to watch.
Yum.
Post feast snuggles (and football) with grandma and grandpa,
and Cooper, of course.
Turkey Trot
This year was warm. Like tee shirt warm.
Jack found time for football, of course.
And Ava found a baby to hold, also of course.
Awards bonfire.
Always an awesome start to Thanksgiving!
practice turkey
The Casebolts were leaving town for Thanksgiving so they had us for an early round.
Jack wanted to look like the Seahawks players pre-game:
handsome bugger
and also a lovey one.
road trip
Ed had a rare Saturday night work thing in Spokane so the kids and I joined him for a free night in the hotel.
Red Robin!
Pool!
Snuggles!
What more do you need?
Wallowas!
Due to big kids with big kid schedules, we had to push our annual Wallowa trip to November and wow, were we glad to show up and find a serious winter wonderland:
Joe giving Henry a big push.
Ed freaking Will out by standing in the creek.
Ed and I snuck out at naptime one day and hiked up the mountain. Which is always worth it!
Ed fake throwing Jem in the creek.
This kid played outside till past dark. He was in heaven.
Eleven crazy kids and the grandparents who love them anyway.
Some serious football happened.
We finally celebrated Jemma's birthday!
Full speed push.
More football.
The view from our room.
The view at lunch.
And since we're always super classy, here's Paula drinking wine out of a dixie cup.
We live it up.
We took our first whole family trip here when I was pregnant with Jack! What?!
At the risk of sounding like an old lady, it's like I blinked and they grew up. At least they're growing up together.
Seattle fun.
We kicked off the month with a super quick trip to Seattle for shopping, eating, and Seahawks:
in the rain, of course.
Happy Halloween!
We had great weather and a great group this year:
After doing our street, Ava headed off with her friends for the night.
That was a little sad. And awesome at the same time.
My Tigger needed a break.
After trick or treating, we headed to the Casebolts' for a smorgasbord of homemade treats and then we rolled on home to check out the loot:
We did alright.
